Tyree Callahan is a Washington-based artist who replaced the ink pads of a typewriter with coloured paint pads and the letter keys with colour markers. I love that the idea connects language and art.

The Necono Digital Camera is shaped like a cat - one eye is a lens, the other is a sensor. It also had magnetic feet and a self-timer. Suffice to say, I am very excited about the existence of such a thing.

These pens by Satoshi Endo and Taku Sato combine the two concepts of floating pen and animation.
The technique creates animated effects using a 6-frame image behind a striped precision screen inside the pen. When the pen is tilted, the little man will walk or swim from one end to the other. You can see a video of the pens in action here.
