Julian Callos created this absolutely brilliant sculpture of Louis CK for an exhibition (“Is This Thing On? 2: The Weird Year”, opening on March 9th at Gallery 1988 Melrose). Julian says “I wanted to make something that reflected the more surreal qualities of the show “Louie” and the unlucky/unfortunate things that happen to or around Louis CK’s TV persona. So I thought, what’s more unfortunate than dropping your ice cream cone on the ground?” You can read more about the process of creating the piece on Julian’s blog.
