The foreground/background action in artist Jason Burch’s “Ringside” amuses me greatly.
Found via 20x200.
Alexandra Hedberg’s “Colouring” series shows a misbehaving Snow White in hand-coloured screen print form. “POW” indeed!
Tetsuo Aoki is a Japanese woodblock printmaker whose elongated black and white figures caught my eye - more work can be seen here.
Found via Designers Go To Heaven.
This print about bonding in the woods is by Jing Wei.
I think I need this brilliant print to be reminded - “it always seems impossible until it is done”. Wise words.

This illustration of mine forms part of a new fundraising site for children’s hospice Richard House in London. The site, designed by The Partners, allows you to create your own one-off work of art - you can visit it at www.goinggoinggone-red.org.
It is similar to a huge game of consequences featuring 120 illustrators - each has drawn a head, body or legs. You can choose your own combination (there are 64,000 possible unique combinations) to be printed as a giclée print.
The suggested donation for each print is £60, with P&P costing £5 in the UK and £10 elsewhere. All proceeds go to Richard House. You’ll have to be quick if you want your chosen mix of head, body and feet - only one of each combination will be produced as a print!
Brazilian illustrator Samuel Casal’s woodcuts are all absolutely superb - it was difficult to pick one to post but I kept coming back to this fine fellow, entitled “Cão”.
