jon contino

Jon Contino is a designer, illustrator, and typographer. His hand lettering is perfect, check it out, now now now. I especially like his CXXVI series.
jeanie nelson

Stunning typographic designs by Jeanie Nelson - this letter 'C' is so inventive! More letters in this post on Jeanie and Jewell, with plenty more work on The Paper Nut.
love jenna

Love Jenna makes me wish I could write like this! In her own words:"Since I was a little girl I have been practicing my handwriting (mostly my own name), over and over on anything near me...envelopes, folders, notebooks, and even on my jeans. It wasn't until I became a designer that I realized I was just a lover of fonts all the way back in the first grade."See more gorgeous calligraphy on her blog.

yourfonts

YourFonts is a free web-based service that turns your handwriting into a font. All you have to do is download the PDF template, print it and fill each box with your own hand writing (or anything else, come to think of it...oooh, the possibilities!). Then you simply scan and upload the file to the website - YourFonts turn this into a TrueType font instantly for you to download. I had a quick go myself, as you can see above. It definitely seems too be a useful and fun resource.Via Lifehacker.
typography photography
This is a great 8×10 color photographic print of a “Royal” and “Remington” typewriter keys, by Typography Photography - available for $25 on the wonderful Supermarket website (a fine place to browse designers goods for sale). I've noticed typewriter keys a lot recently - it's a trend I like.
typeface anatomy

Brilliant typeface anatomy by Björn Johansson. Such an imaginative concept and excellent attention to detail, too.
