My name is Zara Picken and I am an illustrator based in Bristol, England. I do most of the blogging around here, such are my compulsive tendencies.
Also occasionally posting on this blog is concept artist Josh Atack, though clearly not to such an obsessive extent.
This blog documents and archives the finest work found on the web, all exhibited for your perusal.
The main themes here are illustration and design, although anything goes if it inspires or interests.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful trip to Prague, the beautiful capital city of the Czech Republic. Aside from seeing the many Christmas markets, an odd pet shop (have you ever seen a toad in a pet shop?) and a theatrical production very loosely based on Alice (I don't recall Alice taking her clothes off in any version I've previously seen or read), I found an amazing shop called U Zlaté Číše.

I actually spent a large slice of Christmas Day sitting on the floor of this shop, flicking through the treasures in this cave-like establishment. I bought quite a lot. And then I returned on Boxing Day to look (and buy) some more. A few of the finds I have managed to scan in can be viewed below, presented in a handy little gallery with fancy thumbnails and suchlike. If you click on most of the images you should be able to see them in more detail.
